For sale:
2000 4.2TDi Nissan Patrol wagon ST.
The vehicle has been changed from the 3.0lt time bomb to the solid and much sought after 4.2TD. The motor was fully rebuilt and the fuel system was reconditioned before being installed in the car. I also had a new starter motor, air conditioning, turbo and exhaust, reconditioned 4.2 gearbox and heavy duty safari clutch fitted during the conversion. Since the conversion the motor has had approx 45,000km put on it so still basically brand new.
Extras:
* Garrett Turbo from turboglide running approx 16psi & 4.2 topmount intercooler
* 3.5in straight through exhaust
* Safari heavy duty clutch
* 2in front and 3in rear Old Man Emu lift with 1in coil spacers fitted
* 3x 35in Cooper STT's on 15in black sunraisers (50% tread, will pass rego this year) and 2x 35in BRAND NEW but cheap brand muddies on front
* Safari snorkel
* Nissan winch bar with 9000lb warn winch (not working)
* Nissan side steps
* IPF spotlights
* Piranha dual battery system
* Pioneer cd player w/usb ipod control & uniden UHF w/ 1.2m GME ariel
* ARB turbo timer & Autometer boost guage
* 7in screen hooked up to reverse camera
Im sure there is more that im forgetting at the moment.
I have owned the vehicle for about 7 years and am only the 3rd owner, the first was the Rural Fire Service which only had the car for 12months. The second owner was a mechanic and I always make sure the car is serviced.
This car has been my baby for the last 7 years, i have mainly used it for camping trips and not bush bashing. That being said I can assure you it is a very capable 4x4.
This is a tough and reliable 4.2TD with a big turbo and exhaust so sounds awesome and always turns heads. The conversion was done by Pete at XTREME4x4 Mona Vale who does stacks of coversions and custom work, i have the receipt from the conversion and have the RTA vehicle record adjustment paperwork verifying the new engine number etc. I also have various other receipts for work carried out.
Again I’m sure there is more info I’m not thinking about right now so feel free to ask me.
