Description
Rego has expired but we will provide a blue slip with sale
This is a low maintenance vehicle. Very reliable. All the parts are the same as for a GQ.
The fuel efficiency on the highway is about 10L/100kms.
The engine uses no oil.
There are no whines in the gear box or diff.
There is not a lot of play in the drive-train.
It steers & drives well.
There is no steering vibration.
Really low odometer which I believe is right - it uses no oil; has really good economy and everything ticks over like it should for this amount of use. The previous owner kept it in a garage and you can tell from the paint that this was the case - the paint is still shiny, not dull as you would expect from this year model. So if you are after a good, strong, reliable vehicle - this is worth a look.
The only reason we upgraded was to be able to pull at 3.5t horse float.
New EFS shocks
New Electric trailer brakes
Central locking
Rear Heating
Power windows
New Air conditioning
4WD
Automatic locking hubs
24v system
New marine batteries
Tyres in good condition (75%)
Power windows on all windows
Driving lights
4 speakers + CD player
PTO driven winch (not currently attached to vehicle, comes with frame)
Rhino racks
We have had it since about 195,000km. We have serviced it every 5-6,000 kms.
We have found this car to be very reliable, easy to maneuver, cheap to up keep, and in general a great vehicle.
Rides well & very stable.
It has not done a lot of towing - we towed our horse float and a horse 600km return trip & have picked up 80 bales of hay (200km return trip) 4/5 times. It's a great towing vehicle - strong and heavy.
The body is in good condition for its age. There is a dint on the passenger corner (photo attached) and one section of rust on the drivers side corner of sill (photo attached).
We pulled up all the carpets when we got it & there was no rust whatsoever on the floor pan.
The paint work is good for its age & not faded.
This has been the most spacious car we have owned. The back seats completely fold forwards. There is plenty of room in the back for kids, kids seats & adults. The high roof is superb.
History: We got the car from WA from a man who told us he bought it off someone who had kept it in their garage for years and who had hardly touched it. We have since bought another vehicle and this is now sitting in our garage. It passed it's pink slip no problem; we've just let the rego expire. Will provide a blue slip with sale (which means it can be registered in NSW).
Pick up: I am happy to drive it up to 3.5hrs from Glen Innes to meet the purchaser to help with travel distance.
NO SWAPS PLEASE.
