1989 R32 Skyline GTS-t 4 door manual conversion
Currently registered, but selling unregistered with no Safety Certificate.
It is pretty much a stock car and hasn't been trashed. Owned by me since 2005 when imported from Japan.
I believe the odometer reading to be genuine as it comes with the original Japanese handbook.
I also have friends in Japan who do a lot less driving than me because their public transport system is so much better.
The engine runs slightly rough while cold, but is fine once warmed up.
The RHS headlight doesn't always come on first time. Sweet handling with 4 wheel steering.
Converted to a manual in 2008 when the automatic transmission failed. The gearbox felt worn then, has some bearing noise but still works fine. The clutch might need replacing soon, but seems ok at the moment. Clutch reservoir goes down. Leaking at the master cylinder on to the carpet.
Paint work is not great, but the body is straight and dent free. Some paint flaking on rear spoiler. Slight crazing on driver side tail light.
Timing belt replaced with a Gates in 2008.
Stainless exhaust from cat back, so it is louder than a stock Skyline. Replaced when the original muffler rusted through.
Features R33 wheels.
Air conditioner re-gassed last year. Pioneer CD player works fine.
Original stock turbo.
Original stock airbox.
Possibly the only one in Queensland (or Australia) with no cracks in the dashboard. However the centre air vent is broken around the edge.
Power windows all work, but the surround of the front passenger switch is broken.
Rear passenger side disc squeaks. Leather wearing through on steering wheel.
Coil cover has been removed to run the coils a bit cooler. Original cover supplied but not fitted.
Mature owner wanting to sell for a bigger car as 2 baby capsules take up most of the back seat.
Comes with some of the original Japanese paperwork.
Local pickup only from Sandgate, Qld.
Listed elsewhere, so may be removed at anytime.
