Description
Top
spec 2002 Nissan X-Trail SE+ with the best of the engines 2.2 TD 'much more
reliable than the 2.2 DCI' with 6 speed manual, 4WD with 3 setting Auto, 2WD
and Dif Locks.
As said top spec, climate control air con 'that works', electric folding heated mirrors, heated leather seats 'proper leather not cheap leatherette in most new cars still smells like a new', large panoramic tilt and slide sunroof, alarm, x4 electric windows, x2 can fridges in dash 'brilliant idea', 6 in dash cd disc changer, front fogs, x2 power out lets in the front and X1 in the boot, tow bar with brand new 13pin socket fitted 'not cheap' with new Alko tow ball, ISO fix child seat points List goes on.
HPI clear.
MOT- October 2015
Many extras left with the car worth a fair bit of money,
1) Original Nissan Dog guard selling for around £80/£100 online.
2) Tuning box fitted only used a couple of times, £150
3) Original Nissan parcel shelf, selling from £70 to £100+ on eBay.
4)Alko tow hitch for new caravans and new 13 pin socket professionally fitted cost a fair bit.
5) Original Nissan matts including boot liner.
Car has been very well maintained had thousands spent on it, have receipts to prove everything;
1) New throttle pedal 'common fault' only available from Nissan £500.
2) new starter motor.
3) new discs and pads front and rear.
4) new front wishbone o/s and n/s arms £200 each.
5) o/s and n/s front coil springs.
6) new heater motor resistor Nissan part £200
7) brand new front tyres.
8)new Aux belts 'has timing chain so no timing belt to worry about'
9)new handbrake brake shoes inside rear discs.
10) new sump 'common fault'
11) just been fully serviced and has proof of annual services.
12) Full Underbody Waxoyled.
13) new track rod ends.
14) new rear drop links.
15) new fuel filler pipe from spout to tank 'common fault' cost a fortune from Nissan.
16) Bosch S4 battery.
17)EGR valve blanked off 'more power, better mpg, stops intake getting clogged up and keeps oil cleaner for longer'
18) new front shocker.
Can't stress enough how much better the 2.2 DI/TD YD22ETI is compared to the DCI 2003- huge problems with injectors, fuel pumps, turbos and intercoolers, all for about 10bhp extra 'what this gets with tubing box' and still stays in the same tax band.
2.0 petrol is more like having a 1.6 under the bonnet, let alone when it comes to towing, and the MPG is poor at best with £300 tax.
2.5 petrol is fine unless you want sub 20mpg and £300 tax, still has less kick than the turbo diesels versions.
Come winter these cars are worth a lot more!
Please no time wasters making silly offers over the phone or by txt, come see the car with the cash first, then I will take your offer seriously.
Same goes with test drives, I want to see proof of insurance first, no test drive then go away for a think, test drive before buying the car.
Sorry if I sound a bit over the top, just fed up with timewasters filling their time in and wasting mine.
