2000 Nissan Patrol
Nissan Patrol –Build July 2000. 3.0Litre ZD 30 Diesel Engine. The engine in this vehicle is not the 2000 – 2001 “Hand Grenade” Engine that was originally in the vehicle . The old motor was replaced with a 2007 3.0 Litre ZD 30 Diesel in January 2015. The old motor lived up to its Hand Grenade image and exploded with just under 200,000 km on the clock. The new motor when fitted had 166,000 km on the clock and and has a slightly larger capacity than the old one. Proof of motor purchase and mileage is available.
Current mileage is just under 215,000 km and the new motor has traveled only around 15,000 km since it was installed. I have had Boost and Exhaust Temp gauges fitted to keep an eye on things. Gooogle the price of replacement motors and see how much they cost.
Vehicle has never been off road or on the beach and I have owned it for around 7 years. Previous owners were a middle aged couple on the Sunshine Coast. I spoke with them before buying it and they assured me that they had never been off road or on the beach with it and only towed their caravan.
I bought it to tow a van too but never did as my work committments did not permit. I am now selling it to purchase something more sedate like a Toyota Tarago (yes a Tarago)!! so I can tow the grand kids around more easily instead of a van.

This is an excellent vehicle both mechanically, external body, and interior. It has never been in an accident and is in immaculate condition.
I have spent a large amount of money on this vehicle in the time I have had it, and consequently my ability to negotiate a price is very limited but will listen to reasonable and sensible offers. A reasonable deposit is required if you want to buy

Vehicle performs extremely well and is quite nippy for a large 4WD and the economy is excellent. It is also cheaper to register as it is a 4 cylinder.
If you are a genuine buyer and would like an extremely clean, sound, mechanically reliable 4WD and not a "Hand Grenade", then this is very worthy of an inspection. There are many similar 4WD around in this particular build year and also later models, but after looking at mine you find another one at around the same age or younger and at the same price or even less, in as good or better condition, with all paperwork and receipts available, I suggest that you buy it quickly before someone else does as it won’t last long.
I am happy to answer any questions and make the vehicle available for inspection at any mutually convenient time. Vehicle has just been serviced and is ready for any family highway or off road adventure or towing without spending $1.00 extra. The vehicle comes with a roadworthy and saftey certificate and I am open to having it inspected by anyone of your choosing at your expense.
