Description
1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass
Up for bids is my personally owned 1972 Cutlass. Few words to really describe this vehicle and they are: nice and clean. You will notice in the photos the mirror finish in the paint covering the near laser straight body. The car was born with a goldish tan exterior and has received only one repaint in now a metallic dark blue. All body panels are original with no patch panels, no rust, and no rot anywhere on the car. The underneath of the car is in original condition as well with completely original solid floors and trunk pan. The frame rails are also perfect. The undercarriage is clean and has not been covered up with unnecessary undercoating or paint. The interior is also original in white with split bench seat. The carpet and dash are factory black. There are no cracks in the dash, the seats, or the headliner. There is a little bit of yellowing on some of the interior side panels but nothing being very noticeable. The inside of the trunk is original untouched sporting the original spare tire and jack. All the stainless trim is perfect as well as most of the chrome. The bumpers are driver quality but contain no rust. Now for the drive train: this vehicle has the number matching engine that has been freshly rebuilt. The only modification is a mild cam upgrade and headers. The transmission has been rebuilt with a shift kit installed. The rear end was replaced with a 12 bolt Moser rear fitted with 3:73 gears, all new bushings, and Edelbrock shocks. The transmission was geared so that the speedometer is calibrated accurately. The rear brakes are drum and the fronts have upgraded Wilwood Disks. The exhaust is all new from the headers back to the tailpipes. This car is a dream to drive. It smoothly goes down the road with no vibrations or squeaks whatsoever. I would not hesitate to drive it cross country. The air conditioning works and blows cold!!!
I have described my car to the best of my knowledge. It will be sold in as is, where is, condition with no warranty because it is privately owned. I require a $500 paypal deposit within 24 hours from auction end with the balance paid in full within 7 days from auction end. The vehicle will not be released until all funds have cleared. It will be the responsibility of the winner of the auction to make all arrangements to have the vehicle picked up, or you can just simply drive it to its new destination. I also reserve the right to end the auction early if the car is sold locally. I do have it advertised locally as well. Please respect my 100% positive feedback and only bid on the car if you have ready funds and every intention on buying this beautiful classic. I recommend you to come and inspect the car or have someone come and inspect it for you before placing a bid if you wish to do so. Also feel free to contact me with any other questions that I may have not covered about the car. Thank you for all your understanding and taking the time to read my auction. Happy Bidding!
