Description
Selling my 1965 Cutlass. This car came with a 330 with a 4bbl carburetor and two speed column shift.
I have the original engine and it did run, but was very tired. I replaced the engine with a rebuilt 1970 455 engine with “ C “ heads. I used factory W/Z exhaust manifolds and I have installed new duel exhaust, to the rear bumper. The transmission is a rebuilt two speed from a 65 442. I have replaced the original brakes, with a new duel reservoir master cylinder, new brake shoes and new wheel cylinders, along with all of the rubber brake lines. I have replaced the front floor boards and the trunk floor. The front and back glass channels had minor rust issues, but needed to be replaced, so I did replace the lower glass channels, at the front and back, I also replaced the front windshield.
The body is very straight, with a nice original patina and free of rust through. The frame is very nice, with only surface rust.
The stainless and pot metal side trim, along with the front grill, is in remarkable condition. I have never seen original trim on a 65 Cutlass that looks so nice.
The original bucket seat interior is in need of full restoration.
My price is below my investment.
