1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme

This is my 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme. Its is all stock except for the paint, radio and, rear speakers. It has the Rocket 350 with the 2 barrel Rochester. This is a very solid car for its age. I have driven this car all over Southern Idaho and have never had a single problem. One of the first things I did when I acquired this car was downloaded the factory service manual from wildaboutcars.com. The factory service manual was a huge help servicing and adjusting most settings back to stock. Everything from the copper core spark plugs, copper core plug wires, dwell, carburetor, a/c charge (r12), transmission fluid, rear end fluid and so on has been serviced. One thing these Olds 350s are known for is that the baffles in the valve cover and oil drain back holes in the heads will eventually block themselves off. I removed the valve covers and cleaned the baffles and also the oil drain back holes in the heads. The car doesn't use any oil. I run strictly Delo 15w40 motor oil with a wix oil and air filter. The oil remains golden till around 1800-1900 miles then it starts to darken up ( Delo 15w40 has a high detergent pack in it ). The wheel bearings have been packed and the drum brakes adjusted properly. The tires have great tread but are showing signs of age ( slight cracking ). There are a few small rock chips, surface scratches and some small rust bubbles but nothing major. The glass is clear and not cracked or scratched. I also have all of the original owners manuals that came with car when it was sold new.
