1952 Oldsmobile 88 Deluxe

I bought this car from a Classic Cars in San Diego,CA. The original owner had them sell the car for him. This car was used bythe Oldsmobile Dealership in San Diego, CA as a demo from 1952 to 1953 1/2. Theowner bought the car in 1953 and I purchased the car in 2/2004. I have donenothing to the car with the exception of regular maintenance. The car has onerepaint, excluding the door jams etc. The bumpers have been re-chromedstainless has been buffed. The original owner had the valves harden to run onunleaded gas. I do not have any information on the motor and transmission towhen or if they had been rebuilt. This car runs beautifully and gets 20 MPG onthe highway. I have driven this car two times to Morro Bay with the OldsmobileClub of So. Cal. The head liner was replaced at one point and carpet. Theupholstery and door panels, trunk area are original. The engine compartment hasbeen detailed by the original owner as well. The car drives very nice with alot of get up and go. The transmission shifts like it should with no issues. All gauges, lights, windows, doors, radio, hood and trunk work as theyshould.
