Description

For sale is my 1967 Oldsmobile Delmont 88. Just in time for spring!
"The Delmont 88 was introduced for 1967 and produced for just two years, replacing both the Jetstar 88 and Dynamic 88 model lines. The Delmont, which is perhaps best remembered as the car driven by Ted Kennedy at the Chappaquiddick incident in 1969, featured the 330 V8 as standard and the 425 V8 as an option in 1967 and the new "Rocket 455" version of the same engine with a longer bore-stroke in 1968." - wiki
Engine: 8 Cylinders, 330 CI High Output
Transmission: 2-Speed Powerglide
Thrush Exhaust
Original Steel Body
Edelbrock 4 barrel carb,
intake manifold,
rocker covers and air filter
I am the third owner of this car. This was my first Classic Car. The motor was rebuilt shortly after I purchased it in 2013. It has never let me down and is a blast to drive. The person I bought this car from had hooked up a high end audio system. All of the lines are still in the car but not hooked up.
The interior has natural wear on the driver side and one dime sized rip in the headliner above the passenger seat. The rear is in good shape. Heater works great.
When I bought this vehicle the passenger side windshield leaked, so I had it resealed from Speedy Auto Glass.
It was just freshly painted with PPG's Omni line of paint and undercoated professionally at Krown in Barrie. The underneath is clean.
It comes with the original air cleaner, intake manifold and carb. It currently has Edelbrock rocker covers, air cover, intake manifold and 4 barrel carb on it.
This car sounds really nice with the Thrush on it.
Reason for selling: I have a 66 Grande Parisienne now.
If you are looking for a rare classic that is a real head turner, this is it!
The buyer will be responsible for shipping the car. Thanks for looking.
