Description

Up for auction is this very nice all original 1923 Ford Model T Four Door Sedan. It has the original 4 cyl flathead engine & planetary 2 spd transmission. It starts right up, idles nicely and runs good with no smoking. Engine has been re-built in the past. It has electric start and the magneto works good. It goes down the road nicely with no front end wobble. The brakes are a little soft, however still work OK. The paint is very nice but not perfect. No major dents or dings. The previous owner said it was the original paint, however, I have no way of knowing that for sure. At any rate the paint is very respectable. There is no bondo or patch panels and is solid. The glass is all very nice shape with no chips, cracks or separation.(fogging) All the windows roll up & down, doors open and close good. The top looks to be new. It appears a little dusty in the pictures, however, it is in excellent shape. The tires are in drivable shape with decent tread. The headlights work, horn blows very loudly. All the gauges work. It is nice and clean under the hood. The wood spoke rims are in very nice shape. The interior is also in very nice shape. Nice headliner with no rips or holes. The seats are in nice shape with no rips or tears and look to be the original material, which for a 98 yr old vehicle is just amazing. An indication that this car was well taken care of all of its life. The is a wonderful piece of Henry Ford auto history. Check out my 100% positive feedback and bid with confidence.
