Description

Up for sale is my 1976 Oldsmobile Toronado Brougham, 455 cu.in. engine, automatic transmission, fwd, 47,000 original miles, black exterior color w/burgundy pillow velour interior, loaded with many options: A/C, power windows, power door locks, power seat, power trunk, cruise control, rear window defog, Am/Fm 8-track radio w/power antenna (unplugged in the up position). The car has been garaged all its life, not restored but well maintained and is in above average condition. Wherever I go, the car gets many compliments.
The car shows well like a low mile car with a great shine and clean body - looks great. There are minor paint blemishes and blisters from age, top surfaces of hood and trunk lid have light check cracking, spot on hood where paint chipped/lifted and was touched up, dent on passenger side door that could be paintless dent removed - in my opinion, all of which don’t detract from the look of the car (see pictures). The interior is in excellent condition - seats are beautiful, nice carpets and headliner, small crack on driver’s side door panel, small crack in dash, original floor mats that look great. The vinyl roof is like new! Under the hood is presentable but not detailed. The trunk carpet kit is clean and in nice shape with little wear. The mechanics of the car are in excellent condition. It runs and drives nice and strong. Engine starts up quiet, shifts and drives great. The A/C blows cold and the cruise control and clock both work! Chrome and stainless are in nice condition, shining like you would expect from a low mile car, but does have pitting on top surfaces of bumpers (see pictures). The rear quarter panel filler panels have been replaced with aftermarket but the rest of the filler panels are original and in excellent condition. The underside of the car is solid with nice floors and frame bearing original undercoating (see pictures). Tires are old with wider whitewalls, brakes and exhaust are good.
