1952 Other Makes chevrolet

1952 Chevrolet 3100, 5 window. Purchased this truck on Ebay about 2 yrs ago out of Wisconsin. Had it shipped up here to Canada, and it has sat in my garage ever since. Due to Strict transport regulations here in Alberta, its been a real challenge getting someone who would be willing to inspect it. Spent the first year just tinkering with it..adding those features that i knew would be required to pass ( park brake, neutral safety, working gauges, lights, etc.). When time came for inspectionall the garages i spoke to,informed me that it would need bumpers, proper inner fenders ( originals cut to accomodate front clip). Finally found someone who would look past all that..put it up on the hoist and proceeded o inform me that the frame had been cut ( nova clip) which was illegal. Well, to make a long story short, i finally found a shop that deals with hotrods..and who is willing to take a look at itbut at this point, Ive lost all interest. I plan to move to B.C in the next year, and from what i understand, they have the strictest regs. In North America. So, i've decided to pass it on.Even though it was brought into Canada, it has never been registered.so as far as i know..its still a U.S. vehicle. The truck itself is pretty much the way i bought it. Has a Nova front clip, P.S., P.B., Olds 260v8, turbo 350 trans, and chevelle rear end with 3:08 gears. It has Ididit tilt column, Dolphin Gauges..all work..except speedo needs to be driven a mile to calibrate,( will include directions). Fuel tank under bed. Fuel gauge is off by a quarter tank ( 1/4 tank is the empty marki decided to live with it). Horn works thru a button on dash. Reverse lights thru toggle switch.New Heater/defroster. New electric wipers. New stereo with 8 speakers.
Has Lokar floor emergency brake. I placed a loose fitting center console over it, as i really just installed it to pass inspection. Neutral safety switch.ALL LIGHTS WORK.High/ low beam, all signal lights. Also has new radiator, windshield washer, carb, alternator New interior door handles, window cranks, arm rests, visors. new Exterior door handles with one key to open both sides. The body/undercarriage is in excellent condition with very little rust. Solid floors and cab corners. Paint I would rate as very goodexcept the upper Black section -- evenly applied, but has a rougher texture. Not sure why it was painted that way. Couple of small dents just ahead of driver's door ( see photo). I have not driven this truck any further than a couple of blocks, but it seems to run very well.
