I purchased the vehicle when I worked in the Republic of Georgia and most of the work was completed there to restore it and convert it to a pick-up. I then brought the vehicle back when my assignment was completed. I have used local shops for the limited work needed since it has been in the USA. Note - Mileage reflects Kilometers driven since odometer was replaced soon after purchase as there was no odometer when purchased.
It's a 1972 GAZ 69A with upgrades and modifications: recently repainted, modified as a pick-up. Modifications include, roll bar, shoulder seat belts, Volvo seats with warmers, power steering, windshield washers. It has as Volga 200 4 cylinder engine with 4 speed manual transmission with a hydraulic clutch. The transfer case shifts from 2WD to 4WD and from Low to High range. Hubs lock manually. The vehicle has a 2” hitch receiver. Near new rubber on the tires. It is street legal and licensed in the State of Washington as a Collector Vehicle.
