This particular car Marmon 68 series model 1929 came from Chicago, Illinois To Edmonton Canada in 2011. I purchase the car few years ago. The car came with an 8 cylinder engine and original dravetrain.It was in running condition. It has been replaced with mercedes benz 240 D model 1976 with only 22000 miles on it ,in the interest of preservation.It will be re-installed in the future.The sale it will include also the original engine and drivetrain. The series 68 are 114 inch wheelbase.The car has been restored in the past but no documentation is with the car. The car is in really good condition for his age.The car was kept in garage all the time, and has been driven only in summer. It is running with no problem at all. The body it is straight and solid there is no rust in the car. Yesterday we took the car for tour was reaching the speed up to 50 miles per hour with no problem. Mechanically sounds.We gat compliments everywhere we go.The pictures speaks themselves
Marmon is very rare car. When this car was introduce in 1929 it cost 3 times more than chevy or ford in that time. For someone who are in market for Marmon sedan it is perfect car.
