1965 Sunbeam Alpine. Converted to a mid 70s 1600 Toyota Corolla 4 spd. Standard. The body has been done and painted many years ago and has been in storage for many years. The brakes have been done, including the original booster which has been chromed. A used low milage , Toyota Corolla engine with a weber carb and chrome headers was put in 2 yrs ago. The engine runs nicely and shifts very tight. Diff was changed and is very quiet. The white top is beautiful. Back window very clear. I've insured the car and have been driving it to shows. The interior is not complete but well on the way. New inside door panels and around the shifter a very nice console was made. This car would be perfect for a Tiger clone or if you want to still have a car that turns heads without that V8, this would be the car. It still needs some mechanical work,rear shocks and some seals are missing around the windows. As mentioned, some chrome work needs to be done.Great project car, that runs and looks great.
