I inherited this authentic MKII Tiger from my father who purchased it in 1974. The Car was disassembled for restoration shortly before his death in 2010. Disassembly included removal of engine, transmission, fuel tanks, brake system, engine cooling system, windshield, electrical system, and interior upholstery.
Body: Rust & Accident free solid car, garage kept, mildly flared fenders, ford cream yellow with brown strips & matching hardtop, needs repaint, has bolt-in roll bar, sway bars, Koni Shocks, modified front heater panel to accommodate large core radiator. Original Tiger Steering column, rack & front cross member installed.
Motor: Vintage 1970’s Boss 302 with 351 heads, balanced & blueprinted, by Coleman Brothers Baltimore, MD, less than 5,000 miles on motor, but needs a rebuild from being stored. Also comes with original 289 heads.
Drivetrain: 354 Posi-traction, original 4 speed transmission, driveshaft, clutch, and blow proof bell housing.
Miscellaneous: Dashboard, VOS & original gauges, headlights, bumpers, Black vinyl seats, carpeting, glove box, visors, wind shield, windows, 4150 Holly carburetor, Carter AFB carburetors, large core radiator, oil cooler, American racing turbine wheels, MKII eyebrow trim. The Headlights,Tailights, and Bumpers are in pristine condition and are wrapped in plastic.I have everything to reassemble & restore this car. The only items missing are the rest of the Mark II specific trim pieces, egg grate grill & intake manifold. This car has a straight body and no rust. Rust is very common for these cars. The Pictures of the car before it was disassembled were taken in 2009 and scanned to my computer, sorry for the bad quality, but they are the most recent pics of the car before it was taken apart for restoration. Vehicle is sold as-is. Thanks for looking!
