Description
I am helping sell this great-American classic, super-rare survivor, 1954 Packard convertible, to help settle an estate. Since the Witsken family purchased this car, it has always been barn or garage-kept and very-well maintained. It has only 80,721, original miles. There were only 863 of this model built.
It has a very straight, mostly rust-free body with a good frame, floor and trunk. It has most of its original (code T) Packard Ivory finish. Nothing has been hidden. They replaced both rocker panels just years ago. I tried taking pictures of all angles so you can see the entire vehicle. The chrome looks mostly good with some pitting. The stainless trim looks nice. It has two cracked flat door glass and the windshield is cracked.
This car was driven into the barn 50 years ago and it has not been started since. We pulled the car out of the barn yesterday, but did not attempt to start it. We put some oil in the cylinders and turned the motor over. The car rolls and steers freely. We hosed the dust off so you could see the quality of car you are bidding on.
This is truly a great investment - climbing in value every year. This car is a great candidate for someone wanting to finish a classic, drive a well-patina'd survivor or build a high-end hot rod. The current NADA Book Value is: Low-$16,100; Average-$31,800; High-$55,500. Do not let these values stop you from making an offer today. This car is being sold with absolutely NO RESERVE.
I have 100% positive feedback (please read) because I don't exaggerate the condition of cars. This vehicle is being sold without reserve, as I feel this is the only fair way to sell a car at auction. If you have any questions, please call me (Ken) directly (quickest and preferred) at 513-403-7386, or email, and I will help you. You do not have to wait for the auction to end. The family is accepting offers. If this is the car for you, call me and make an offer today.
$2,000 due in 48 hours, balance due in 7 days. Car is located in Cincinnati, Ohio 45248 and is being sold with a clean, clear title. I will help with shipping arrangements, anywhere in the world, if you would like. I have a flatbed rollback tow truck available to help with loading.
