Packard 1947 Super Clipper

1947 Packard Custom Super Clipper, rare 7 passenger sedan, body by Henney. This very original Packard is a three owner car from new, with much history documemtion. Imported by myself in 2011 from California, this Packard still retains it's "black" plates. Powered by Packard's magnificent 356 cube senior engine, backed up with a 3 speed + overdrive transmission plus a 3.92 to 1 diff makes this a very capable highway cruiser. These long wheelbase models were built on Packard's commercial car chassis, and as such everything is bigger, bigger brakes, king pins, chassis etc. The Packard is currently on the Club Permit scheme in Victoria and passed a full Victorian roadworthy inspection. Maintenance tasks completed have been: Complete front end suspension rebuild, including the lever arm shock absorbers. New wiring loom installed. Servicing of all drive line components, including new water pump. New rear shock absorbers and spring bushings. Complete brake rebuild and service.
