1940 Packard Super Eight

1940 Packard 160 Super Eight needing full restoration. Should run and drive now, but I have not started for a year. I have driven this car on and off over the last 25 years. Sleeved brake cylinders, turn signals, driving light. Rust out around rear fenders, noisy transmission bearing, and play in accelerator linkage will need attention. I have most parts from an identical parts car including extra super eight engine and overdrive transmission, better rear fenders, and a ton of parts that are included in this auction if buyer wants them. Will assist loading on trailer, or will deliver locally. Clear title in my name.
This is a powerful senior classic Packard and because of the independent front suspension and other modern refinements such as hydraulic valve lifters, it is a joy to drive compared to older Packards while retaining the classic Packard body style. This is a good winter project car and a great investment for restoration. Reasonable reserve.
