Totally original and unmolested. I'm very sad to be listing this beauty!
All original panels, straight Failed MOT yesterday and I do not have the time to sort as I am now living abroad. Quick sale required, good opportunity and good example.
150 K – runs lovely. Engine & gearbox excellent
History- I had always wanted one of these since I was a nipper however could never afford one/insurance. Purchased in 2013 off an enthusiast who had had her a while and really looked after her. I had the wishbones done, engine serviced and one little patch of surface rust by drivers door corner sorted (only bodywork that been done on car). Was going to put her on the road - then I got offered a job in the middle East – the 205 has been in heated storage ever since. I have always had plans to put it on the road – however I put it in for MOT yesterday and she failed – I have a sprog on the way, 2 minis, a van and I don’t live in the country – I am gutted but she has to go. Comes with loads of spares & shed loads of history.
Needs for MOT: (see attached picture of MOT paperwork from yesterday)
Main things are rear beam axle and Drivers seat (floor mount has a crack which needs welding in my opinion). Brakes sorting (imbalanced) I have new set of Pug pads for the car. Needs 2 new front tyres.
Other bits to make perfect:
I was going to have the seats re-upholstered
Original Clarion stereo wiring up
HT leads need changing (have new ones)
Drivers Electric window sticks occasionally
Central Locking bad earth
Heater fan staying on
Slight oil leak from engine
Alloys could do with re-conditioning
Sunroof stiff and catch missing
1 x small piece of red trim missing
steering a little heavy (possible new rack?)
Front fog lights are rusting
Carpet could do with a proper cleaning
Locks/Petrol cap arent original -

Private listing and i have been as honest as poss so you know what you are getting and I want this gone ASAP as I will be leaving the UK again on the 7th Feb. Hence why there is no messing around with reserve prices She will need to be picked up by then and £500 deposit to be paid by winning bidder within 5 hours of sale ending & picked up within 48 HRS!!!!!.
