Description
Selling my gorgeous 1994 model turbo diesel Peugeot 405 SRDT sedan in white.
I had a RWC done a few months ago so that I could transfer regofrom NSW to Vic.Needed a new windscreen, brake hoses and tyres (4x newBridgestones, cost $450).I had the starter rebuilt about 6 months ago. It had a new alternator about 18 months ago, and not long before that it had a timing belt, water pump and serpentine belt. The car has 374,000km on the clock, but it has been regularly serviced and looked after. These cars are known to do 600,000km+.
The car is beautiful to drive - super-comfy and will do 5.5 litres/100km on a long drive. I get 6.4 litres/100km around town.
It has a tow bar which I use for a bike rack, have also towed a garden trailer with it once - the car tows beautifully.
The interior is in excellent original condition, although it has an updated stereo and gearknob.
Rego is current until 20 September. I am living in WA and my wife doesn't have time to arrange another RWC, but it won't require anything because the car has done less than 1000km's since the last one.
The winner of the auction must pick up the car from Kensington (Melbourne) on the evening of Thursday 26 June, and pay cash.
