Description
Super Economical 406 AUTOMATIC HDI 110 BHP.
I'm selling due to purchasing a larger 4X4 only
This is a superb car which achieves high 40's around town and 50's on a run MPG
Has jut been MOT'd and four new quality tyres fitted as was the only advisory 16/04/16.
Vast service history to comprise of new cambelt, waterpump & kit & oil changes annually.
Last year it had new discs and pad all round and a battery which has a 3 year guarantee.
It drives very well and is infact more comfortable than the Discovery 3 I'm replacing it with.
I also fitted a new towbar last year and really is the only reason for sale as we have upgraded from camping to a caravan, this is a great towcar and would pull a caravan upto 1500kg however we just decided to go for the 4X4 given the ever expanding family.
Only faults and I will list both to avoid disappointment and I'm a totally honest chap,
The central locking locks you in from time to time, not an issue as it unlocks as normal and keeps you safe anyhow!
The ABS can be felt infrequently through the brake pedal, the brakes perform well and wasn't an issue at the MOT. I have had the fault investigated and is a cheap fix requiring a new regulator ring fitting which a pair cost £20 and would be worth the labour should this bother you.
That's it! I have kept her well as have the two previous owners, the first was an elder gent who had everything undertaken at a Peugeot dealership, the second a mechanic who loved the car as much as I do! All receipts present, service history, both keys and original manuals.
Its a super drive, the leather and overall feel is of a much younger car, the interior has not been abused and treated regularly!
