Description
Up for grabs is SWMBO's faithful Brrmm Brrmm, also known as a Peugeot 205 Si.
It is NOT a GTI!, but it is a spritely little car all the same. Don't be put off by the automatic gearbox, it changes up and down gears with verve, almost like a manual. Genuine reason for sale, Brrmm Brrmm sadly has become one car too many and I don't have the time to look after it properly.
This car is not without faults which are mostly cosmetic, what it does have though, is cold airconditioning, a good stereo, GTI alloy rims, and great fuel economy. It also has an uprated fuel pump(306) and alternator(Mi16 80Amp). Full registration till 5/11/2015. Regularly serviced, timing belt was changed 20,000km ago. Has recently had new brakes front and rear, as well as new wheel bearings front and rear.
According to the RTA we are the 4th owners not including dealers, we've had the car for a bit over 4 years.
This is a very affordable classic car with parts readily available on ebay(Au, UK. EU),Aussiefrogs forum () and through various specialty suppliers. While it runs (surprisingly)well in modern traffic and is eager on the expressway this car would suit someone wanting a fun weekend car rather than being subjected to the daily stop start grind. Yes it needs some work but it is properly drivable as is.
