2000 PILGRIM SUMO 427 AC COBRA REPLICA
Offered for sale is my 2000 built Pilgrim Sumo Cobra Replica.
Painted in metallic silver with white stripes it has image halibrand 15 inch wheels, stainless roll bar, stainless side pipes, polished edelbrock rocker covers and many other upgrades.
The car had been off the road for a while when I bought it but I have since carried out the following works
New fuel tank, pump and fuel filters.
New starter motor
Brand new edelbrock 500cfm Carb, air filter is removed in the picture to show brand new carb fitted. So is the oil filler cap as we had just change the oil at the same time as fitting the carb.
Brand new battery fitted only last week
Various other maintenance has been carried out to bring the car back to a roadworthy and usable condition, It has had a full service of all oils and filters.
The car cosmetically is in need of some attention, there are various areas on the body work that have marks or blisters appearing and it would probably benefit from a respray.
The interior again could do with a bit of attention but everything is there and working.
From a mechanical point of view the engine and gearbox are fully working with no known faults and all freshly serviced.
The car passed its MOT recently with a couple advisories for rear bushes but they are still ok. This is a great project for someone who is looking for a V8 cobra replica on a budget and who is not scared to get their hands dirty. It was my intention to fully restore the car but I have just acquired another project which is taking up my time and funds. That said i am in no hurry to sell so will not give it away.
Although MOT tested and fully running this vehicle is being sold as a project given its cosmetic condition.
