Description
1970 Plymouth V code Cuda
I have had many Mopars and this is one of the best driving cars I have had. The kind of car you get in and go where you want knowing it will get you back. This Cuda is interesting in the fact that it was rotisserie restored sometime in the very early 80's. I didn't think a lot of that was done back then. The underneath is body color and has held up well over the years. The engine is not matching numbers but is a late 1969 block.
The body on this cuda is very nice. All the gaps and alignments are good and doors shut well. When looking down the sides it is flat and straight and there are very few places of rust as shown in pictures. The chrome and stainless still shine well with little to no dings. The paint has few scratches or dents but does have a lot of checking as this car was painted with lacquer paint 35 years ago.
The drivetrain is in excellent condition on this car. The engine fires up and runs smoothly. It drives down the road with ease and steers and stops as it should. There are no rattles or weird noises. When you open this engine up it comes alive and the carbs seem to be functioning properly. I would not hesitate to get in this car and drive anywhere.
The interior seems to be in original condition but still nice. The dash is crisp and clear and everything works except the rpm gauge. There is a dash cover over the pad so I would assume it's cracked. The seats are comfortable and the door panels are still nice along with the headliner. The windows roll up and down well and meet well to each other. All the interior functions work.
This is a really straight solid cuda which is a joy to drive. It has a real fender tag and a build sheet and has obviously never had hardly any rust. These kind of cars are hard to come buy. I have tried to explain this car to the best of my ability but it can be easy to leave things out and it is a 45 year old car. That being said this car is being sold where is as is with no warranties being written expressed or implied. I recommend pre inspections and will make car available to do so. Any questions or offers? 636 219 7298 Thanks
