Description

1973 Plymouth Barracuda 383 V8, 4-spd manual. Car restoration was done in 2009. The car was originally a 318, 3-spd car and was upgraded with a 69' 383 and a 4-spd manual "Rock Crusher" transmission behind it. The engine was slightly tuned up with a bigger cam and bored over pistons, Hedman shorty headers, electronic ignition, and an Eldebrock 650 electric choke carb. To keep it cool it has a custom 27" aluminum radiator and aluminum 5 blade fan. It was run on a dyno back in 2012 and the engine puts out about 350hp.It has a an 8 3/4 Detroit locker posi read end with 3.55 gears. Power steering with PO front disc brakes and rear drum brakes. The car sits on 14" Cragar S/S rims with BF Goodrich tires which still are in good shape and have lots of tread left.In 2016 underneath the car was upgraded to a Hotchkis TVS Suspension system specifically made for E-body. The interior of the car is in good shape, and has a hard to find original (not to the car) 4-spd console. The car does not have a stereo or speakers, because it was always nice to listen to the rumble of the magna flow exhaust system. The pictures speak for themselves. Car is still in great shape and has always been garaged and has never seen rain. Buyer is responsible for pick up or shipping. $1,000.00 deposit is due within 24hrs of the winning bid.
