Description
Numbers Matching Highly documented HemiCuda speaks for itself. A very rare pedigree car that is offered for sale from my private collection. This is a car that is well known in the MOPAR community and highly sought after. It is documented all the way back to the 1970-1972 registration as noted also has receipts dating back to 1976. The car was also featured in the First National Hemi Owners Association Meet in 1976 as noted on the windshield decal. The car is in the Chrysler registry and has been visually inspected by Galen Govier. with paperwork present in the binder. The car was featured at the USPS Muscle Car Stamp dedication by Richard Petty in 2013 at the Daytona 500 Race in the Pre-Race Parade lap driven by myself.
Now reluctantly I must find a new home for this beautiful car. I would leave her alone in remembrance of all she has been through rather than tear her down and restore her. In addition with the car comes a trunk lid, door skin and valance not reproductions but original if there is a desire to tear her down and restore her. By the way the pictures at the drag strip were only for show. We had a private photo shoot done by photographer Jimmy Zhang. The car has never been drag raced or abused by me. Please do not bother with ridiculous offers.
I have added a few pages from the GTS (Galen Govier) visual inspection done in 2006 from the owner prior to me and a sample receipt from 1976 from the second owner. There are a lot of receipts in the binder through the years and a record of all the owners. To save space I have placed a few examples of the paperwork. There are 2 fender tags One with the codes and the other which states "Hemi Fender" The car has some surface rust areas in the trunk and in the rear quarters where one of the previous owners tried to fix it.
Having just finished restoring a rusty 1971 challenger it does not look very severe to me and a good body shop should be able to take care of it if you do not want to tear the car apart. It is optioned with the track pac and has its 4:10 dana intact.
Please note I reserve the right to terminate the auction early as the vehicle is advertised locally.
I am open to offers but you make me the offer not the other way around.
Thanks!
