Description
NO RESERVE THIS CAR WILL SELL TO THE HIGHEST BIDDER.
Up for bidding is a 1968 Plymouth Road Runner RM23H8G.Numbers matching 383 engine and 727 Automatic transmission.Clear Illinois title. The car is a Blue with blue interior and we believe a black vinyl top.The Roadrunner is VERY SOLID.We have documentation pictures and receipts that track it to the 1980's West Texas. It all tells us the owner pulled the engine and had it rebuilt, and the suspension and brakes were gone through at that time.It had been stripped down for a new paint job which never happened. The car is mostly complete.missing fender tag.The engine did fire up sounded good,we shut it off,did not try to drive it.The car needs a complete restoration,But with that said, being from texas it is very solid no rot or rust in body panels, frame rails or trunk floor,I have shown in one of the pics, there are two small rust spots in the front floor pans that have already been patched. The hood had a carb fire at some point,it may need to be replaced, insrts are good though.Roof is solid, rear Dutchman panel solid as well,ALL FRAME RAILS are RUST FREE and BEAUTIFUL.You will save thousands of dollars on this car from it being so solid, the pass side rear quarter has had a square cut out(not sure what happened there)but the auction includes a full pass side quarter skin. This is a cool color combo 68 Road Runner and is mostly complete, missing some interior parts, rear bumper and brackets, however,it does have all trim, grill is very nice, tail panel trim is a good piece, the seats are buckets from a 70-74 B and E body all have been reupholstered in two tone blue including the original rear seat(top and bottom) Factory A/C Car with the Large Drum Brakes and blue rubber floor mat. There are some extra parts that go with it in the trunk.Battery in pic not included.
