Description

Offered at no RESERVE !!!
1966 Plymouth HEMI Satellite with 16 628 original KM (10 340 miles). The car was an export for Europe in 1966 by Chrysler USA for Chrysler France and sold brand new by Garage Bosquet in Paris, France. Assembled at Lynch Road Detroit USA, the car was then shipped from the factory to Paris in France on February 25th 1966. The car is equipped with the very well desired 426ci / 425hp Hemi engine with a torqueflite automatic transmission. Exterior paint is finished with the Silver Metallic code AA1 while the interior is done in the electric red premium interior trim code P4R with bucket seats and console option. Among the factory equipments, you will find some nice options such as : the power drum brakes, power steering, power window, tinted glass, light package, 3 spoke wood steering wheel, day & night mirror and the very rare front and rear bumper guards. Since it’s a European export car, it came out from Lynch Road assembly plant with radio and outside mirror delete option.
After being stored for year’s in France, the car made it’s way back to North America 8 years ago to undergo a complete nut & bolt restoration. The car at that point was still in it’s original paint with it’s original interior. Being a rust free car, the body retains all of it’s original body panels and sheet metal. The car has been restored to all the original stock specs with the use of the most NOS parts we could find. As far as documentation, the car was decoded by Chrysler Historical Services and the copy of that record will be given to the new owner along with the original Certicard, microfilm of the build card from factory records and also with the Hemi Powered owner’s manual.
The car has been driven 5 km or 3 miles for tuning purpuses since the restoration and was debuted at the Chicago MCAN Muscle car & Corvette Nationals in November 2012. Entered in the premium judging concour, the car won the Gold title with a score of 993 points out of 1000.
