Gateway Classic Cars of Scottsdale is thrilled to present this beautiful 1963 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible for sale on consignment with our showroom in Phoenix, Arizona. The Bonneville line up, which consisted of a 2-door convertible like this car to body styles such as a 4-door station wagon and 2/4 door hardtop, was Pontiac's most luxurious brand during the 1960's. The restoration of this example lives up to that reputation, with quality present inside and out. A fresh Dark Blue paintjob turned out absolutely gorgeous on this big Bonneville, with a White power-operated convertible top that also appears to be in new condition completing the look whether you're riding with the wind in your hair or enclosed. If you're going for the former, you can add the dark blue boot cover to streamline the appearance of your classy classic. There are plenty of authentic styling cues on this Bonneville from the stacked headlights to the 8-lug heavy duty wheels and the driver side mirror that is set forward. Once you muscle the heavy hood open you'll see another desirable feature in the form of a 389 CID V8 engine with a 4bbl carburetor, power steering and power brakes. The engine compartment appears nicely detailed and the factory air conditioning is still installed, although not operational at this time. This pretty Pontiac for sale features a Turbo-Hydramatic 3-speed automatic transmission with a floor shifter for operation. Inside the cabin, the detail is astonishing and although the seating material and door panels have been upholstered in upgraded two-tone Blue vinyl, the rest of the interior retains a lot of factory style features. Some of our favorites are the “Super Deluxe" AM radio, factory air and heat controls, inlaid wood steering wheel and (working!) “Manifold Vacuum" gauge that Pontiac used to promote fuel economy. This 1963 Pontiac Bonneville for sale is just a wonderful car inside and out- this was a premium General Motors offering, and it shows even better today thanks to this tasteful restoration.
