Description

Relisting do to the person that bid and won became a no show. Back up for bidding is a rare 1964 Catalina 2+2 convertible for sale. The car just came out of a 80+ year old mans car collection and is in great condition. 1964 was the first year Pontiac came out with the 2+2 option and their are only 6 in the Pontiac registry. Only 7995 2+2 options were made in 1964 and most were hard tops! The car has the original red color paint that's in amazing condition. The bumbers are like new and all Crome looks great. It has the original 2+2 bucket seat with center console interior with newer carpets intalled. The truck compartment is in great shape with a new carpet set and the truck light system that has a 14' extension cord factory installed works. The top is in great condition with one repaired pin hole. All windows are in good working order. The Engine bay has been detailed and looks good and the engine is the original 11H motor and runs great. The transmission works as it should go's right into gear and shifts nice. All the lights and wipers work fine just a nice old car. Looking at Hagerty evaluation price at a # 4 condition 2+2 they show the car at $19,600. I think it's closer to #3 and #1 is evaluated at $73,000! I'm pricing this at below the # 4 price and the car is also being listed for sale locally so I will end the auction early if I get my price. This car is a great driver you can take to local cruise nights and know you will not see another one. Great date night car or take the grand kids out for ice cream on the weekends.
