Description
I took possession of this car by way of an inheritance. When i was 30 years old my Aunt bought the car. I thought it was pretty cool then and said like any kid would then " when you get rid of it call me first". Well, she never got rid of it. She kept for years in the garage ( the car has less than 22,000 miles on it) but sometime in the late 90's she put it outside under a tree and did not drive it. Unfortunately, the car got some scratches on it and the front fascia has some fading on it. That is the only part of the car that has suffered. I got a call when she passed and was told that the car was mine.
I brought it back home and replaced the heater core, flushed the cooling system (there was not one speck of mineralization in the radiator), fixed the fuel sending unit, cleaned the fuel tank, changed the oil and transmission fluid, put on some new tires and windshield wipers. The brake fluid was perfectly clear and not contaminated so I left it alone. The air conditioning does not work. Presumably the R-12 is low or gone altogether, I don't know which or for what reason. The car runs and drives great now and everything (but the A/C ) works.
As you can see the exterior is red and the interior is tan. The interior is near perfect.
Equipment on the car is as follows; SE package, A/C, power windows, sunroof, cruise, tilt wheel and automatic transmission.
It was a nice gesture and I brought the car home because I would like to see a bit of Pontiac history back on the road again. It was fun working on it and cleaning it up. Now it time to go to someone who would enjoy it. I have a Solstice Coupe so my two- seater itch is satisfied.
Please don't ask me to reveal the reserve. You are encouraged to make an offer but unless you are willing to immediately wire funds to my bank account I will not accept any offer to end the auction early.
