Description

NO REPORTED ACCIDENTS OR DAMAGE - NO TITLE ISSUES - NO ODOMETER ROLLBACK

* The car has a new distributor professionally installed by a Midas dealer, a new K&N air filter, newer Kuhmo brand tires in the correct factory sizes, a two year old Napa battery, A H/D waterproof tan car cover in good condition with two mirror pockets and the ‘eyeholes’ needed for cable tie down comes with the car. It has been covered or stored in a finished garage ever since I’ve owned it.
* The car has beautiful Burgandy metallic original exterior paint that is in outstanding condition. The paint is extremely shiny and nearly perfect with absolutely no fading or clear coat damage. There are very minor scratches on the rear wing and rear bumper. These are a couple of scratches on the hood by the windshield wiper and some stone chips on the lower front fascia. It is the best quality original paint I’ve seen on any used Pontiac Fiero GT.
* The car has the original 2.8L V6 engine that runs well and the optional 3-speed automatic shifts smoothly and quietly every time. This car drives and handles very well. This 1988 model has the major suspension upgrades that Pontiac added only for the final model year.
* The car has the factory tinted glass all around in outstanding condition. It also has the original Pontiac “GT” plastic rear sail panels in outstanding condition. There are no cracks, spiderwebs, or fading. It has the original factory tinted LOF windshield that had a small stone chip on the passenger side that was professionally repaired. There are no cracks, large chips, or delaminating on the glass. There are no cracks, spiderwebs, or delaminating on the plastic tail lamp covers either.
1. This Fiero is in about as original condition (except for routine maintenance items) as you will ever find today. It even has the original Delco AM/FM/Cassette radio.
2. The interior is almost flawless. This is a non-smoking vehicle and smells like new. The car has the light grey interior. The cloth bucket seats look almost new with no cuts, tears, or stains. The cloth headliner is perfect with no cuts, stains, or drooping. It also has the original tweed carpeting in outstanding condition and the original factory floor mats plus Lloyd custom floormats.
3. All gages work as they should including the odometer and oil pressure gage. The gas gage has shifted slightly to the right (as usual) but otherwise works fine. All of the power options also work fine, but the power windows are a little slow due to age.
4. The car has the Pontiac black aluminum honeycomb wheels. All four wheels are in excellent condition with no curb rash on the chrome rims. All four tires are in excellent condition in the correct 15” factory sizes. This car also has ther optional GM wheel locks,
5. There are TWO complete sets of GM car keys (3 keys each including multiple ignition keys) and the original 1988 Pontiac Fiero owner’s manual is included.
6. The pop-up headlight motors need to be replaced with brand new (not re-manufactured) Cardone headlight motors which are still in the boxes and are included with the car, but need to be installed.
7. The A/C works fine but needs to be recharged to blow ice-cold after several years of being in storage.
Maintenance work that was done per the previous owner’s records before I bought the car:
“All routine and preventative maintenance has been performed including: A/C system serviced and updated with new compressor and condenser, new heater core, coolant system flushed and refilled with new coolant, new fuel filter, new accessory belts, new oxygen sensor, transmission fluid changed and filter replaced, and new A/C Delco spark plugs and wires."
