1975 PONTIAC FIREBIRD TRANS AM
This Trans Am is all original (minus all the stickers and some much-needed suspension upgrades). This Trans Am is a rare late production run vehicle with the 1976 style nose and tail. All numbers matching car, engine has been thoroughly rebuilt by a machine shop in Modesto CA. Estimated 300 bhp. New clutch, original transmission and linkage, new exhaust, new shocks, new springs, new upper and lower suspension arms, new brakes, etc. The 4 speed has the original Hurst linkage mated to a stock transmission, shifts effortlessly, clutch engages/disengages smoothly. Chassis and body are solid, very minor surface corrosion, some chips and nicks. Shaker hood and air intake are original. Carburetor is original GM Rochester Quadrajet 4-bbl which has been rebuilt. AC recently serviced. Car starts immediately, idles smoothly, pulls evenly and powerfully through the RPM range
This TA is a joy to drive, looks great, plenty of power, all the rumble the car came with when new, steers properly and tracks straight. Very good straight line acceleration, solid brakes, corners surprisingly well for a 43-year-old muscle car. It's hard to find a solid stock 4 speed Trans Am with air conditioning.
I have too many projects and this car isn't getting the attention or drive time it deserves. Well over $25k in this car.
