Description
1970 Ram Air III Formula PHS documented all numbers matching. Atoll blue (one year only)with standard black interior, This was a frame up restoration. (400 miles since restoration)
The car has had new floor pans, trunk pan and frame rails with new outer wheel wells and quarter skins. The doors and rockers and jambs are all original to the car along with the ram air hood and trunk lid, The panel gaps are out standing everything fits like it should or better. The paint on the car is a strong 9 with a few in perfections.
As far as the numbers matching The motor is WS code. with correct ram air III distributor and 7040273 carb and air cleaner. The transmission is the M-21 close ratio , Also the rear end (COZ) 12 bolt with its 3:73 gears.
The car also has the correct date code wheels which are 15x7 JW rims with new Goodyear polyglas tires.
This is one of 189 built with m-21trans and WS Motor, The car was built in the last week of April in 1970.
There are a few things missing from the car there are no rear seat belt. No jack or spare tire The Am radio works but is not hooked up. cigarette lighter doesn't work.
It won most outstanding in it's class at this years (2018) POCI convention.
