Description

VEHICLE has motor out right now - please do not ask me if it is running, it is NOT Running. New motor on crate included with sale.
1979 Pontiac Firebird Formula
1979 Pontiac Firebird Formula (clean title) with 1970 Firebird front end, a costly modification! Over $20,000 in parts invested in this vehicle, unfortunately about another $30,000 invested in labor and body work, documented. Vehicle sold with MOTOR out of vehicle, on a crate and - motor is fresh and new and I will include the new motor with the sale so you can have this beauty running again.

Paint is just several years old, looks great. Do not hold back on owning a true legend and classic muscle car, just go for it and BUY IT if you want it. These are getting harder and appreciating daily, buy mine while you can. Soon everyone will want $20K+ for any classic Firebird. Now that Burt Reynolds passed, Firebirds are the next great investment. I unfortunately cannot keep it because I need a pickup truck.
Odometer reads roughly 28,000 but there's barely 1,000 miles on the transmission, and engine is new.

New engine (Pontiac 6.6L with 6X heads) on a crate, sealed in garage. All engine accessories out of vehicle and ready for you to put back together, easy install. The last motor was a similar 6.6L Pontiac 400 that was installed improperly by a Goodyear shop in Anaheim, and the bearings were toast. The manufacturer shipped me a new crate motor since it's under warranty (7 year/100,000 miles) and I had the vehicle towed on a flat bed from the shop to my home.

Transmission (T350) is new and installed (work was done at a transmission shop), spotless, no leaks - from Jegs.

If does not sell, I will keep it and re-paint black like the last picture.

Vehicle has been completely restored, all new suspension parts, and only the best went into the performance upgrades. The work (body, exhaust/muffler, differential, transmission) was mostly done at specialty shops except for the motor install. Interior looks great for age.
