Description

'67 FirebirdThis is a great example of what a Firebird of the 60s might have looked like if they had used the technology of today. The car started out as a yellow HO model with an aging 326 motor.
Although it ran fine and had a previous makeover, it was in need of some updating to make it truly special.
What began as an upgrade to a newly built Pontiac 400 (320 hp) by Sandoval Performance, soon evolved into a complete body off restoration/ modification.
This is but a short list of all that was done:
* Patriot Ceramic headers
* New Turbohydramatic 3 speed automatic transmission
* Holly 4bl carb
* New Hotchkis Sport Suspension with disc breaks & break lines
* Interior completely stripped, new Dynamite soundproofing
* New headliner, sail panels, rear deck, door panels
* New factory correct looking Alpine sound system with iPod jack
* Seats and carpet were in excellent shape and replaced
* New under dash gauges
* Body stripped to bare metal, replacement quarter panel and fender R side
* New heater box motor & fan
* New weatherstripping
* New windshield
* New 400 Style hood with chromed hood scoops
* New American Racing Nova wheels 16 front 17 rear
* New Firehawk tires
Then there's the paint .. two tone..Cobra Metallic Blue over
Jet Black , accented by two painted (not decal) silver stripes .
$32,000 spent on bodywork and paint alone. Over $80,00 in all.
This Firebird is not for the Pontiac purist but has been a showstopper wherever it has been. There are less than 1,500 miles since restoration a few years ago and drives as good as it looks.
I am parting with this gem since it was a labor of love for my wife who
passed away from ALS before she could enjoy it.
My reserve is very reasonable so you can be certain it will sell.
Complete documentation , receipts and pictures of the restoration will be provided.
If you have any questions, I will do my best to answer them
Good luck bidding
