Description
1979 Trans Am clone with a 505hp 6.6L/400cu GM small block. The motor itself was blueprinted and built by Kirk, at Westberg Advanced Engines who builds engine nationally and for Nascar, And we have the documents and receipts showing more than $10k spent on the motor only. The rear differential is a Ford 9inch with a locker and disc-brakes, which was also professionally gone through. The transmission is a 700R4, which was also rebuilt with heavy duty components, and a shift kit.
This car is my uncle's pride and joy that he built from scratch. He owned the car for about 15 years, during that time the car has had major restoration. He built the car of his dreams, a car that looks amazing and preforms over the top.
It's not a 100% finished Firebird, but its 5%near being done. And it only needs A/C hooked up and charged, power steering pump pulley adjusted (still drivable). And maybe rebuild/swap the 700R4, it seems to hold the power but it has to be babied between shifts. The body has ZERO rust. There are few small dents here and there (check photos).
All the body pieces and trim as well as interior trim is there, unfortunately we don't have the original front seats or the original dashboard.
Check out the video of walk around.
