Description
This car is a genuine 1968 Pontiac Firebird 400 Convertible - The top of the range performance Firebird in that year.
I purchased this car in California about 5 years ago and had it fully renovated to original factory specifications. It has sat in my shed unused since then and I am selling as I have too many things on the go and cannot see myself doing the car justice for some time. Would rather see it go to a good home. It is a personal import and I have all relevant import papers etc.
It is a triple black car with factory fitted 400 Cu engine, 4 speed manual trans, power steering, 4 wheel disc brakes, Air conditioning, power convertible top. Major work completed during the renovation is as follows;
Rebuilt engine to original spec. with new clutch, carb, alternator.New paint, upholstery, door trims, carpet, rubbers.New convertible topNew floor pans fitted (rust removal)Correct Rally 2 wheels, fitted with new tyres.New brakes - Front & rear discs, booster, master cylinder, etc.Rebuilt front end including new steering boxNote - The air con is fitted, but not operative - needs a v belt and gassing
The car is ready for registration.
