As Pontiac enthusiasts know this was the only year for the Grand Prix Convertible making it a rare and desirable collectible. This car has been meticulously maintained and as you can tell by the pictures is in very nice condition with no rust and very clean undercarriage.

Now for some 67 GP Convertible History..

During the pinnacle of the muscle car era, it was easy for certain models to get lost in the shuffle. Full-size muscle cars were especially overlooked, both when they were new and in the 1970s, years when a muscle car was about as welcome in your driveway as an IRS agent. Pontiac made one of the greatest efforts in full-size muscle, with 2+2 and the Grand Prix, but both cars remained neglected until just a few years ago.
The Grand Prix, of course, had quite a following by 1967. Launched in 1962, the Pontiac Grand Prix was a new breed for the Tin Indian: a personal/sports/luxury coupe. Equipped with bucket seats and a floor shifter from the get-go, the Grand Prix aimed its guns at the Ford Thunderbird and the Chrysler 300, as well as cars under its own umbrella, such as the Olds Starfire. Out of the gate, it was a modest success, representing 5 percent of Pontiac's sales in its first year. And that's pretty much the way it stayed, right up until the 1969 model year, when the personal luxury coupe really took off.
The biggest news of Pontiac's 1967 cars was the convertible top. The Grand Prix model had never before been offered as a convertible. Now that the 2+2 (which did offer a convertible) was gone, there was no sense in not offering it.
Engines for the 1967 GP started with the 350hp, 400-cu.in. V-8, and ended not much further up the line with a 376hp, 428-cu.in. V-8.
Despite its bold looks, Pontiac only held onto this GP body for the 1967 model year. A total of 42,981 GPs were built in 1967 but only 5,857 were Convertibles and not many remain in this color combinaton and condition! For quite a while, you could pick up a decent Grand Prix for chump change. However, we're not talking about any Grand Prix here. This is a convertible, which only accounted for 5,857 of those 43,000 sales.
To give you an idea of the potential value of these cars the following info was obtained from an article in Hemmings magazine from 2007 describing a '67 GP Convertible that was sold at an RM Auction in June 2007. Auction Results were as follows:

1967 Pontiac Grand Prix Convertible
Auctioneer: RM Auctions
Location: Lapeer, Michigan
Date: June 7, 2007
Lot Number: 263
Condition: 3+
Auction estimate: $50,000 to $75,000
Sale price: $82,500 (including premium)

The Auction car had been restored in the mid-1990s, the car was still holding up well, but wasn't the show winner it had been when it won first prize at the Pontiac Nationals in 1996. Some of the exterior trim was blemished, and there was some corrosion beginning to show under the hood. Somehow, a Pep Boys Fram air filter found its way into the Pontiac's open element housing. In the back seat, a split had begun to show on the seat bottom.
Nevertheless, the car had only covered 5,937 miles in 40 years of driving. Could that be right? After the 1990s restoration, it's anyone's guess whether or not that's been rolled over, and the seller's information in RM's catalog made a point of mentioning "the odometer reading of 05937," rather than out-and-out claiming the low mileage.
Either way, someone paid $82,500 which is a boatload of money for a full-size muscle car, especially one as controversially styled as this Pontiac.

As for the 1967 GP being auctioned here, you will find a very well maintained car that will sell for multiple times BELOW the RM Auction Car. The owner is liquidating his collection and moving out of State. The reserve is very very reasonable. Don't miss your opportunity to own this very collectible GP! You will not be dissappointed!
