Description
Up for sale is a 1970 Pontiac GTO. Very solid start to your next restoration project. No motor or transmission, but factory rear end is still in the car. Originally a 400 with a manual trans. XH code 3:55 posi rear end. Other options were factory tach, cordova top, power disc brakes, center console, and power steering. Pepper green metallic, with green interior.
I've owned the car for about 15 years. Car is probably 90% complete. As seen in pictures, this is a very solid, strait car. Nice hood, floors and trunk pan are very good. Frame off restoration was started. Frame was blasted and epoxy primed and painted, and urethane bushings installed. Tub is from a '72 lemanns, and was undercoated before mounting to the frame.
Areas that will need attention: Front fenders will need "dog legs" on both sides. One door has a small rust hole on bottom corner. Trunk lid has some rust decay on inside lip. Both rear wheel wells have a small amount of rust (on rear corners only). Endura bumper is strait, but missing some small pieces of rubber on the top edge. Interior will need restoration, but comes with a new green carpet kit for the cab, and a new green headliner.
Comes with a solid set of inner fenders, driveshaft, and drivers seat. (don't think they made the pictures)
Only reason for selling is I have two, and only room and time for one. More pictures available upon request.
Clean, clear title in hand, in my name. Also have the build sheet.
No shipping.
Thanks for looking.
