Description

1969 PONTIAC GTO CONVERTIBLE. One of 2,415 4-Speed Convertibles, equipped with a 400 cubic inch V-8 motor. This is a 10 year old restoration of a rust free low-mileage Southwestern car, showing only 56k miles. We purchased the car at a Barrett-Jackson auction in June of 2012, and have only put about 1600 miles on it during our ownership. The drivetrain is smooth and tight and it runs and drives and shifts like new. There is no smoke or clatter from the engine, and it does not drip or leak any fluids. The exhaust note is deep and perfect, and is guaranteed to make you smile, every time.
The car was manufactured at the Arlington, Texas plant, and spent the bulk of its life in Arizona. The car was repainted in Matador red prior to our ownership, and the Judge Kit was applied, as well as the RAM AIR IV stickers on the hood. Those stickers and badges, and the stereo, are the only variances from stock. We believe the interior and POLYGLAS spare tire to be original to the car.
This is a ROCK SOLID FUN MACHINE that drives like a dream, and is a blast to cruise. We have the clean California Title in hand, and will include all the Barrett-Jackson swag with the sale.
Happy to help with the shipper of your choice.
