Description
Up for sale is a car I am selling for a client of mine. At my restoration shop, I've taken care of this car for years and have done quite a bit of work to it. It is a true 242 car that now has a rebuilt YH code 455 with about 1000 miles on it. New 4 row aluminum radiator. Brakes have been fully gone through (drums front and rear). Hoses, shoes, wheel cylinders, master, booster etc. Car also has power steering, soft ray glass,355 ratio rear end.
This daily driver 1967 GTO also has a 4 speed manual transmission that shifts perfectly with a silky smooth newer clutch! The car has fantastic California metal with just a few small rust spots as seen in the photographs (about 1.5" of bubbling near one rear tire and 2 small spots on the rear, inner fender/rocker). Floors are in very nice shape, along with the roof and rear window also being fantastic, solid steel. It is tight and the doors shut well.
This muscle car carries a clean title, current registration and is 100% ready to hop in, turn the key and go! Drives fantastic, stops great and feels overall- very tight. Has a new dash harness along with a new harness to the starter as well. I have all the repair orders and everything that has been done to it for the last 5 years
The upholstery shows quite a bit of wear, but is complete. The paint has many small blemishes, a few scratches and dings, but would be a very easy repaint if desired. All in all, it's a car that is a fantastic driver with cosmetic issues. Tires are great. Doesn't overheat. All lights, blinkers, wipers work.
