Description

Starts, runs, and drives, but wont stop! Needs brakes.
Purchased vehicle to restore, but have 2 other restorations taking precedence.
Car is solid, needs some body work. Some of the floor pans already completed as well as a newer white rag top. I consider the rust minimal!
Interior seats (except for driver seat), body chrome, side mirror, badges, radio, antenna, front grill, seat belts, & console lid, are removed and in dry storage.
Also included are a couple quarter patch panels, and RH rear quarter corner piece cut from another GTO- ready to replace quarter as pictured.
Hideaway headlights are missing, standard grills have been replaced and are included. Otherwise the car is complete. Removed seats and previous noted pieces will be placed into the car and trunk before delivery.
The car starts, runs & rolls, sorry but no test drives without brakes. I will test drive up and down a 100' driveway if necessary.
See PHS Docs for all options and vehicle specs.
400 YS 9090071 correct code matching engine (engine serial# is non-matching), w/ Rochester Q-jet 4 bbl HO carb 7028268.
Title & odometer reads 22,162, which suspect/certain is incorrect.
Expect all interested parties to ask any unanswered questions before making your bids. Be earnest and committed to purchase before placing your bid.
Video taped the engine running and revving dated 12/12/14. If interested in viewing, please inquire, will forward the vid to you.
Vehicle can be viewed and/or picked up after 12/25/14. I will assist any hired hauling services with the pick up.
Wish I had the time to restore to its original turquoise interior and exterior color with a white rag top, a real beauty! Similar car pictured for reference.
Also have a car trailer being sold "as is" for $700, brakes, lights, and winch work, tires have sidewall dry rot, but plenty of tread. Just in case the car becomes a trailer queen, contact if interested.
Good luck!
