Description
For sale is a 1965 Pontiac LeMans four-door sedan.
326 V8, 2 barrel carb, 2 speed auto. All original panel work. Lovely red interior. L/H drive. Power Steering.
Everything works; heater, wipers, all electrical stuff (radio on the blitz, may need to check fuse)
This lovely old cruiser is perfect for your quintessential weekend drive. A real head turner with its classic look and old school V8 sound.
No rust. Nice and straight.
What I have done in the past 12 months:
Full service; plugs, all fluids, all belts, timing checked.
Battery.
Alternator.
All ball joints.
All tie rod ends.
All springs (coils all round).
All shocks.
Seat belts (has front only - permissible for a historic vehicle)
Sway bar link and mount bushes.
inner control arm bushes.
Complete diff rebuild. (She has a heavy duty axle installed when new as an option) Crown wheel was machined, not replaced.
I have got documents from the Pontiac Historical Society in the US detailing more about the car. I can provide these for you.
Things I would like to do:
R/H/R door needs adjusting. It rattles a bit at speeds above 30mph.
This vehicle is in very good condition. The photos do not do it justice. It starts easy, it drives really well. Very smooth and soft to travel in. A great way to spend your day and time.
A good chance to grab what may well be the best four door 60s era LeMans in Australia.
Selling due to marriage breakup.
Genuine interest only please. No low ball offers.
I prefer pick up only. Can arrange interstate transport via truck at your own expense and own risk.
