Description
Good day
I bought this car back in 1997 from a private owner in Indianapolis. The car originally came with a Pontiac 350 V8 and a turbo 350 trans with a 2.73 rear gear. In the many years i've had it i replaced the original motor with a rebuilt 455 Pontiac engine with 6x low compression heads from a 400 pontiac Grand Prix. The engine has an 067 cam with a one year old performer carburetor and a new master cylinder. The transmission was changed as well and the car now has a Turbo 400 with a shift kit installed. The rear end was replaced from another Pontiac station wagon. It is a posi unit with 3.23 rear gear. The car has dual exhaust and glass pack mufflers. The tires are ancient and i would not drive on a long trip with them. I replaced the original steel wheels with Pontiac mag wheels. The worst rust is the quarter panels as the pictures show. I have one quarter panel piece for one of the sides. I also have a really nice used rear bumber for the car as well as a spoiler for the rear hatch if desired. From the other wagon i installed the third seat in the rear under the deck panel. The car has only been driven a couple of time a year for the past three years and the motor itself is not really broken in yet. Car Runs strong with the big block. I have air shocks in the back and spring shocks in the front. The air shocks have been on for a long time but still seem to hold air okay. And lastly the car needs a paint job after the rust repairs are completed.
