Description
1967 Pontiac Tempest Custom Convertible All original
Vin 235677P321836
326 V-8 motor with a Super Turbine 300 Transmission (Tempes Torque)
Rally 2 Wheels
No air
I purchased the car in 2007 and it had 91,000 miles and it now has 92,700 miles
The previous owner acquired the car in 1997 and he had purchased the car from the original owner.
The previous owner had the floor pans replaced, new fuel lines, and replaced the white convertible top with a black top. I believe he also had some other sheet metal work done.
The power top goes up and down without any issues.
The frame does have some minor rot spots.
The fuel gauge does not appear to be registering the correct amount of fuel.
Glass is okay, the windshield has a small rock chip that was present when I purchased the car.
Some notable repairs done by professionals in the last three years.
June 2012 Removed and rebuilt carburetorJune 2012 Complete Tune UpJune 2011 Transmission Rebuild
This car runs with no issues and I would highly recommend anyone interested in purchasing the car come and take a look at it.
