Description
I purchased this car several years ago with intentions of performing a full restoration and now realize I will never get to it. It has not been driven since 1982. I was told the engine was blown back then so the original owner traded it in at the same Pontiac dealer she bought it from and then a mechanic there bought it and stuck it in a barn and moved away so it just sat with only 51559 miles. This is a rolling body only. The original stock exhaust with catalytic converter are still under the car along with the 3:23 posi rear end. It rolls freely on rally 2 wheels and the tires hold air enough to move around, just leak slowly. The quarter panels will need replacing due to rust along with the radiator support, sub-frame & drivers door. Another usable door is included with a solid skin but needs repair to the lower rear inside & also a good used sub-frame. The hood & fenders were beyond repair & discarded so it needs them as well. The floors are decent along with the trunk floor which both need minor patching. The deck lid also needs a small patch on the inside front but the lip is nice. The right door is decent. The front bumper will need reconditioning and the header panel has a piece missing. The rear rails & spring mounts appear solid as most of these cars were prone to rot out there. I have tried to cover most everything & included added the pics so what you see is what you get. I do have a clear NYS title in my name to transfer ownership. 1976 was the last year for round head lights & the 455 engine. There were only about 7000 455 cars ever produced & only about 2500 were black and very few with the 97N white seat option which makes this a rare & desirable collector car since its unmolested & will be quite valuable once restored to original or part it out. No reserve and a low starting bid! Non refundable $500 deposit is required. I will assist with loading on your trailer or work with your transporter.
