1978 Trans Am
This is an SE clone resto-mod. Pontiac 400, TH350 3 speed automatic transmission. It was an original black on black with Lombardy interior. It has the Hurst T-Tops. It is lowered with Pro Touring F-Body GT suspension which lowers the car approximately 1" to 1.5" and year one 17” snowflake rims on 255/45/17 front and 285/40/17 rear Nitto 555 tires, all brand new. Paint is good, not perfect in some places. The Special Edition striping kit and decals were just applied. New gas tank and upper and lower control arm bushings and ball joints. Interior is in excellent condition also. Seats were completely disassembled and sand blasted to bare metal, then primed and painted. New seat springs with support were installed with the original, un-torn Lombardy cloth seat covers. Seats slide like new. Heated seat switches installed, but heating elements never installed in the seats. Can install for additional price. New interior door pulls and dash cover. Randy Combs has professionally refinished the dash bezel and steering wheel to the SE gold color. Every interior light bulb was changed to LED. This includes all instrument lights, blinkers, and original radio illumination light. The center console was modified and a Pioneer stereo was installed, hidden by the console cover. This is connected to a Kenwood amp in the trunk that powers 2 Rockford Fosgate 6x9’s in the rear deck tray. Many other new parts to make a car like this look great! There is 98,250 miles on this car, which may slightly vary as I will still drive it a small amount before winter storage. The floor pans have been patched. There is rust on the underside of the car, as well as rust holes in each rear frame rail that could be fixed. Make sure you look at the pictures and realize there is rust on the underside of the car. If there was not, this car would be listed for 40K instead of 20K. It is covered in dirt and grime, I just never had time to get under there and scrub. Clean title in hand. These cars are getting nearly impossible to find, especially with Hurst T-Tops. The reason I am selling is because I also have a 1977 Trans Am.
